Description

The price of key medicines can sometimes mean that the people who need them most don't have access.

About this Event

Concerns surrounding pricing within the pharmaceutical industry centres around the lack of universal access to medicines, often deemed a fundamental human right. At the same time, sellers may be inadequately compensated. The social value in pharmaceutical pricing is highly reliant on government policy to enforce price controls, to contribute towards research and development and to prevent the exploitation of intellectual property rights. At this webinar, we will host various leaders with key insights and experience of pharmaceutical industry pricing to discuss the current environment and challenges being faced, the influence of government policy in pricing, and what to expect in the global climate going forward. Each talk will be followed by a Q&A session, open for all attendees to contribute.
