Philip Lindstedt

B.Sc. (Hons) Biochemistry, University of Washington, Seattle, USA

Philip is currently a PhD candidate in the Centre for Misfolding Diseases within the Department of Chemistry in Cambridge. His research focuses on developing chemical biology based techniques to study the physical processes underlying Alzheimer's disease. Before coming to Cambridge, Philip worked as a research scientist at Seattle Children's Hospital developing and manufacturing CAR T-cell therapies to be used in clinical trials.

Philip joined the Innovation Forum in 2019 to gain more insight on how to transform scientific breakthroughs into commercial endeavours. Having worked in both industry and academia, he is excited to keep a foot in both worlds while pursuing his PhD.
