Dr Uday Phadke has been Chief Executive of Cartezia since 1997. He is the lead author of ‘Camels, Tigers & Unicorns: Rethinking Science and Technology-enabled Innovation’, which received rave reviews on publication in 2017. The book addresses the gap in understanding how science and technology-enabled concepts, products, and services are converted into commercial value.
His follow-up book, The Scale-up Manual, will be published in June this year: the new book provides practical tools and guidance for innovators, entrepreneurs, teams and firms embarked on the commercialisation journey. In his talk, Uday will preview some of the approaches and tools from the forthcoming book, citing insights from some new case studies.
