MBPhD student at the University of Cambridge
Laith is a MBPhD student at the University of Cambridge. My interests lie in general practice, health/science communication, public health and health innovation. His PhD in Neuroscience explored the role of the ventromedial prefrontal cortex in the regulation of emotion and cardiovascular function.
He joined Innovation Forum to get first-hand experience working at the interface between academia and industry. From both his clinical and academic experience, he has seen the importance in seeing through bench-to-bedside translation. New startups have an important role to play in this.
