Yiyun Zhang

Business Development Associate

Yiyun is a PhD research in Geotechnical & Environmental group, Department of Engineering, University of Cambridge. Her research is on developing a new synthesis route to excavate the value of problematic bauxite residue, and investigate the as-synthesised LDH as a novel material in environmental application. Yiyun is primarily funded by Schiff's Foundation Studentship in conjunction with Cambridge Overseas Trust.

During her study at Cambridge, she grew increasingly interested in entrepreneurship and is passionate to explore how science and innovation could help moving towards a green economy. Yiyun is keen to meet more people from academia and industry!
