Éva is a PhD student at the Department of Biochemistry, University of Cambridge. Her research is focused on Pseudomonas aeruginosa (PA) that is recently designated by the WHO as a “critical priority pathogen” against which new antibiotic interventions are urgently needed. Her aim is to investigate how the “zoo” of microbes that commonly inhabit the airways of people with cystic fibrosis influences the response of PA to antimicrobial
treatments.
Éva graduated as a Medical Doctor from the Semmelweis University, Budapest, Hungary. Since her high school years, she has been involved in scientific projects and research. Her results were acknowledged in variety of ways such as being a Junior Templeton Fellow and she was included in the Top 30 under 30 list published by Forbes Hungary.
Now, with Innovation Forum her aspiration is to widen her perspective and network in the field of MedTech entrepreneurship. In the long term, she intends to be a specialist who has the ability to establish bridges among the elaborate world of medicine, research and business.
