Ziyue Zeng

Ziyue is currently a second-year PhD researcher at the Department of Biochemistry and is fully funded by China Scholarship Council and Cambridge Trust. Her research focuses on the interaction between bacteriophage and the receptor on the bacterial host surface, which is closely related to the development of phage therapy in bacterial infections.

By joining Innovation Forum, Ziyue is keen to know more about how to develop possible technology from fundamental research. Moreover, as the staffs are students from different departments in the university, joining Innovation Forum will also be a valuable experience for her communication skills development and social networking.
